Kogi - Kogi State Governor, Idris Wada, has celebrated the 2014 Children's Day with minors in the state.
He pledged his administration's commitment to ensuring quality education to the children as well as ensuring their security.
"Children are so precious to me and I will ensure their future is secure," Wada said.
He noted that the future of Kogi State was assured as the right policies were implemented and in ways that would affect the youngsters positively, irrespective of where they came from.
The governor added that his administration has in the last two years ensured that quality education for children and under that it was offered under a conducive environment.
He urged parents and guardians in the state to treat their children with love and care as well as protect them jealously from any harm.
He wished every child in Kogi State a memorable Children's Day.
