Abuja - The Kogi State said the newly-created Ministry of Transport would help fast track its transformation agenda ease transportation stress in the state.
The state governor, Idris Wada, made the comments as he swore in newly-appointed commissioners at the Government House in Lokoja.
He urged the commissioners to uphold the core values of the present administration which border on good governance, human capacity, educational and agricultural development.
The governor said performance monitoring and evaluation of various ministries would be enhanced to ensure productivity among political office holders and civil servants.
Wada further urged the new commissioners to take their duties seriously and shun corruption in their respective ministries.
