Ilorin - Workers of the Kwara State Transport Corporation, popularly called Kwara Express protested against the move by the Kwara State House of Assembly to repeal an edict establishing the corporation, Punch reports.
The protesting transport workers stormed the premises of Harmony Holdings Limited - the supervising company - on Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Ilorin, to express their displeasure.

They displayed placards with different inscriptions and sang songs condemning the government’s plan.
The Chairman of the Kwara Express Workers Union, Alhaji Ajao Jaji, said that the workers did not support the plan to repeal the law establishing the corporation.
He added that the workers had also protested to the state House of Assembly in September 2014, adding that they wished to remain in the state public service.
