Lagos - The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, Lagos State University, (LASU) has refused to back down on its month-long strike, Vanguard reports.
The stand of the senior staff was announced by the chairman of the union, Saheed Oseni in Lagos on Tuesday.
He said the the union will continue with the indefinite strike they embarked on May 26 until the state government meets their demands which include the repeal of the ‘no vacancy, no promotion’ policy of its management, a reduction in the tuition fees hike and implementation of the 65 years retirement age policy.
