Abuja - Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido and his sons – Aminu and Mustapha – were on Monday transferred from Kano Central Prison to Kuje Prison in Abuja, reports Premium Times.
Their movement to Abuja is to pave the way for their bail applications scheduled for Tuesday.
Last Wednesday, a federal judge ordered they be detained in Kano prison till September 28 when their bail applications would be heard.

The former governor along with his sons were arrested on Tuesday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations that they collected kickbacks to the tune of N1.351 billion from contractors handling different projects in the state.
