Adamawa - Former Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Bala Ngilari, has revealed that the Adamawa State lawmakers compelled him to resign from office, Premium Times reports.
Ngilari, who tendered his resignation from office to avoid an impeachment plot against him by the State House of Assembly on Tuesday said he did so under pressure.
Ngilari’s resignation was read out on the floor of the Assembly on Tuesday and accepted by the lawmakers few minutes before the state governor, Murtala Nyako, was impeached.
