Ilorin - Tajudeen Bakare, an assistant commissioner of police (ACP), was accused of assaulting a female lawyer, Oluronke Adeyemi, before the Chief Magistrate Court, Leadership reports.
Adeyemi claims that Bakare attempted to slap her when she arrived at the police headquarters. She was there on an invitation from the police and was accompanied by clients of hers.
According to Adeyemi, Bakare was aggressive towards her as she was the lawyer to ‘suspects.’
Bakare denied all the allegations and urged the courts to grant him bail.
