Ado-Ekiti - Residents of  Ekiti have urged  the President-elect, retired Gen. General Muhammadu Buhari,  to make security his major priority

The residents stated this in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday.

A politician, Adewale Oni, urged  the president-elect to use his military experience  in tackling the  extremist Boko Haram sect.

He said that the major reason why many voted for him was because of the  challenge of insecurity in the country.

Oni said that the president-elect should strive hard to ensure that the country remains  safe for all residents.
