Akwa- Ibom - A 23-year-old man, Ndifreke Jumbo, has been arrested by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), for attacking technicians of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, Punch reports.
Jumbo, together with his friends, were said to have seized the ladder from the technicians of the company and began to hurl bottles, stones and sticks, among other weapons at them.

The technicians had gone to his house to disconnect him from the power grid after it was discovered that he was owing the electricity company for six months.
The state Commandant of the NSCDC, Pedro Ideba, who confirmed the attack, said one of the employees of the power firm, Solomon Emmanuel, was injured in the attack.
