The prosecutor, Cpl. Abdullahi Alhassan, had told the court that one Mr Daudu Attahiru of Galamadima village, Abuja, reported the case at Lugbe Police Station on June 25.

Alhassan said that the complainant, while on patrol at City Scrape Estate, Abuja, caught Yohanna broke into one of the houses, where he removed wiring cables.

According to him, during interrogation the accused confessed to have committed the said offences.

The prosecutor said that the offences contravened the provisions of Sections 347 and 288 of the Penal Code.
