Ebonyi - A middle-aged man was electrocuted to death in
Ebonyi while attempting to jumper a high tension KVA line, Vanguard reported.
The line was allegedly isolated by the Enugu Electricity
Distribution Company and the man was trying to find a fault done by engineers.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the EDDC in
Ebonyi, Lazarus Chiedozie, stated that the victim was not an employee of the
company and therefore was doing work not appointed to do.
The EDDC holds no fault in the incident and it is
unfortunate the man had to die like that.
