Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan said the Nigerian military would take delivery of some additional platforms between this week and next week, in his administration’s effort to end insurgency in the country, Punch reports.
Jonathan disclosed this during his courtesy visit to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambari, in his palace.

The President expressed the hope that with the delivery of the platforms, the military would move faster within the next two weeks to curtail the security challenge.
The military has been at the forefront of the war against the insurgents in the North-East.
