Adamawa - In a bid to arrest the debilitating security situation in Adamawa, the state government has banned the operations of commercial motorcycles in seven local government areas considered to be terror-stricken, Premium Times reports.
According to a statement issued by Phineas Elisha, the Director Press and Public Affairs to Governor Bala Ngilari, the affected local councils are Hong, Gombi, Song, Girei, Numan, Demsa and Fufore.

About 400 indigenes of Benue State were said to have been displaced from Mubi in the troubled Adamawa State, just as the state government has evacuated its 27 students studying at Adamawa State University, Mubi.
