Abuja - The National Association of Nigerian Students have
allegedly threatened to embark on a strike over unpaid lecturer salaries in
Osun, Punch reported.

refused to negotiate with the lecturers in tertiary institutions owned by the
The Chairman of NANS Joint Campus Committee, Lukman
Adekitan, has stated that students can't keep silent about the matter as this
issue has forced them out of school for many weeks.

Government is said to be owing lecturers from different
universities in the state salaries of more than six months.
