Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted the
resignation of the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs Service, Alhaji
Abdullahi, Punch reported.
According to reports, Abdullahi is meant to commence with
his resignation immediately.
Buhari has thanked the NCS boss for his hard work throughout
the last six years.

Abdullahi had earlier written to Buhari personally of
wanting to retire voluntarily in early August of which his request was accepted
by the president.
The president is yet to name Abdullahi's successor who will
take over customs.
