Lagos - The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy conditions and chances of localised thunderstorms around the coastal areas on Tuesday.
It stated that the southern states would be affected during the afternoon and evening.
The report also projected cloudy conditions over the inland areas in the morning hours with chances of localized thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening.
NiMet said that the central states would also experience partly cloudy conditions with chances of isolated thunderstorms over high grounds of Abuja, Lokoja, Markurdi, Kwara and its environs.
It stated that the northern states would experience hazy conditions which would continue over the region during the period.
The maximum temperature forecast for the southern part of the country is expected to be between 32 and 37 degrees Celsius.
It states that the maximum temperature for the northern region is expected to be between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius.
Yola and Yelwa are expected to have temperature between 40 and 41 degree Celsius.
