Lagos - An application tipped to revolutionise the public relations and marketing communications practice will be available in the country on Friday.

The introduction of QuiDig in Nigeria is a culmination of a collaboration between a local firm and PhaseStream of the United Kingdom.

“‘QuiDig will revolutionalise public relations and marketing communications practice in Nigeria by strengthening online media impact with the qualities it brings to monitoring, measuring and reporting this media segment,” said Bolaji Okusaga, Managing Director of The Quadrant Company.

“It would thus be useful to the public relations and communications industries as it presents practitioners with a flexible app for monitoring and analyzing social media mentions necessary for campaign measurement and stakeholder management.”

QuiDig is said to bethe first comprehensive communications application in Nigeria. It also comes with a media rating and database management mechanism as well as capacity for tracking brand visibility and campaign effectiveness.

“With QuiDig,” Okusaga further explained, “It is easy for communications and marketing professionals to view posts, comments and followers online, while measuring engagements, following trends, and tracking hash-tags related to clients’ brands.”

QuiDig has enviable capacity for tracking brand mentions on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Plus and a wide range of Blogs.
