Abuja - The Yobe State Government has appointed six new special advisers.
The state governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam, approved the appointment which was communicated in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Baba Goni Machina.

The individuals, whose appointment takes immediate effect, include Alhaji Hassan Saleh, Barrister Bala Haladu, Musa Maina Dumburi, Hadjiya Fatsuma Talba, Ibrahim Bakabe and Usman Barau Sugum.
Although the statement did not disclose the portfolio of the new special advisers, most of the appointees were at one time commissioners in the state and were expected to bring their experiences to bear on the administration of the state.
