Abuja - Niger State First Lady, Dr Amina Abubakar Bello, has advocated for the appointment of more women to public offices in order to empower the marginalised group.

She said this would enhance development of women in the area governance.

Bello stated this during the just-ended National Women Conference organized by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State officials (COWLSO).

Bello urged women to be patient saying that more of them would receive opportunities  and positions in governance in the near future.
