Lagos - The national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has said there is need for a 'common sense' revolution in the country, Punch reports.
The former governor of Lagos State said this in a statement titled ‘A Return to Decency’, on Monday as the nation prepares for her 54th Independence anniversary on October 1.
He described the 16 years of PDP rule at the federal level as a period of steady decline into disaster.
He advised that this year’s Independence Day should be a time of sober reflection because other countries that received independence at the same time as Nigeria had since surpassed the country.
