Abuja - The federal government has raised the alarm of the possibility of a resurgence of the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease in the country with the detection of new cases in Liberia, reports Leadership.
A statement by the Federal Ministry of Health on Wednesday said though there is no cause for alarm, the resurgence of the case in Liberia calls for caution on the part of Nigeria and Nigerians.

O.A Adesugba, the Director of Press and Public Relations in the ministry, who signed the statement, urged Nigerians to maintain the highest standard of hygiene.
She stated that all state ministries of health and health facilities had been advised to raise their alert level and report any suspected case to the federal ministry of health.
