NigeriaCom returns to Lagos

Lagos - More than 750 delegates are set to converge in Lagos later this year for NigeriaCom, the region’s biggest summit in the information and communications technology sector.

The event, scheduled for the Lagos Oriental Hotel on September 22–23, will attract officials from leading network operators, Ministry and Nigeria Communications Commission, internet service providers (ISPs), digital companies, handset manufacturers and business ready start-ups.

Joao Oliva, Sales Executive for NigeriaCom, said as a fundamental part of the industry's dialogue and organizers were excited to announce the key topics for NigeriaCom 2015.

These are effective regulation, operator strategies, data and the content gold rush, cloud services and mobile strategy.

A new feature will be the Entrepreneur Hub, paying homage to the start-up community by fostering business skills support, mentorship and investment.

Returning for its second year, the CIO Forum aims to help Nigerian businesses transform into efficient digital enterprises. This feature brings together CIOs and technical officers from large enterprises to network with operator firms and come together to better manage the four pillars of transformation: mobile, social, big data and cloud.

Informa, the United Kingdom-based company, organizes the annual NigeriaCom.
