Lagos – The Oyo State Government has dismissed reports that a school in the state was pulled down and converted to a shopping mall, Punch reports.
The State Government was reacting to a report credited to the Senate deputy chief whip, Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola that it was planning to convert Oba Akinbiyi High School, Mokola, Ibadan, to a shopping mall.
The state Commissioner for Education, Prof. Solomon Olaniyonu, stated that the school, Oba Akinbiyi High School, Mokola, is one of the six schools being converted to model schools by the state government.
