Abuja - Northern delegates at the ongoing National Conference have threatened to pull out of the conference, Nation reports.
The delegates said the decision of the conference to use voice votes to determine resolutions on state police, rotational presidency, the adoption of six geopolitical zones and the deletion of local government from the Federal Constitution, instead of a 'proper ballot process' was the reason why they want to quit the conference.
The chairman of the conference, Justice Idris Kutigi, pleaded with delegates to exercise patience and understanding as their complaints will be looked into.
