Adamawa - Impeached Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, may be charged over allegations of treason and financial misappropriation, Vanguard reports.
The Economic & Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was said to be preparing to charge the ousted governor and a North-East Region manager of a local bank for allegedly looting funds of the state.
The governor was impeached after the Adamawa State House of Assembly deliberated over the report by the seven-man panel set up by the former Acting Chief Jugde of the state, Justice Ambrose Mammadi.
