Lagos – The Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), a pan-Yoruba ethnic militia, has cautioned Boko Haram not to enter the South-West or to expect confrontation, Osun Defender reports.
The group claimed to be prepared for attack and have already trained their members and set machinery in motion. They have also told the people of the South-West that they should not fear Boko Haram moving into their region.
Dr. Rafiu Akinwale, the coordinator of the OPC in Osun State, has said that they have joined together with other vigilance groups in six South-West states to defend themselves against Boko Haram if they should move into the region.
