Obiano commends Anambra delegates

03 June 2014, 20:46

Awka - Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra on Monday commended the state delegates to the on-going national conference for their effective representation of the state.

Obiano made the commendation after receiving in audience the delegates who visited him at the governor’s lodge in Awka.

Giving his impressions after a closed door discussion with the delegates, the governor said he was impressed with their contributions.

He urged them to remain worthy representatives of the people.

"After the briefings and discussions with the delegates, I am convinced that they are representing the state well and are committed to the task they have been given.

"Every one of us should be proud of their quality inputs to the conference deliberations,’’ he said.

The governor also commended the delegates for finding time from their busy schedule to visit Awka.

Prof. ABC Nwosu, one of the delegates, said they came to confer with the governor and update him on their activities at the conference.

Nwosu assured the state that their interest was well represented at the conference.
