Ogun - The Ogun Government on Wednesday swore in 48 newly appointed Customary Court judges as part of measures to ensure quick dispensation of justice.The ceremony was performed by Justice Olatokunbo Olopade, the state’s Chief Judge in Abeokuta.Olopade advised the judges to acquaint themselves with the provisions of the customary court laws and other statutes in order to promote judicial services in the state.She reminded them that the Judiciary in the state had zero tolerance for corruption and all other acts of indiscipline.Olopade also admonished them to be above board in the discharge of their duties at all times.She charged them to ensure that cases brought before them were quickly dispensed with painstakingly and without fear or favour, affection or ill-will.Responding on behalf of other judges, Mrs Helen Majekodunmi expressed appreciation to the state government for the opportunity given them to serve.She promised that the officers would not engage in any act that could bring the judiciary to disrepute.
