Bayelsa - Oil thieves were arrested in Bayelsa State after the Nigerian Navy discovered a vessel with stolen crude oil, Punch reported.
The 13 men were apprehended off the Atlantic Ocean by patrolling navy officials. When they searched the vessel they found the drums filled with products suspected to be crude oil.

They were confirmed to be crude oil after being taken to the Nigeria Agrip Oil Company for testing.
When questioned, the crew could not disclose where the contents came from nor who owned them.
The Nigerian Navy has opened an inquest about the oil found.
