Ondo - A middle-aged man has been killed in a deadly attack between youths suspected of belonging to rival cult groups in Ondo Town, Ondo State.
The deceased, identified only as Bolaji, is said to have been a notable member of the Eiye cult group and was allegedly at a relaxation centre when he was shot on Monday evening, Punch reports.
Kunle Omisakin, Division Police Officer at the Enuowa Police Station, confirmed the incident and said that officials are working towards bringing the perpetrators to book.

State Commissioner of Police Isaac Eke disclosed that a parade involving 33 people was conducted last week in order to establish which are members of cult groups in the state.
Eke said that this was part of an effort to keep the state free from violence during the upcoming elections.
