21 October 2015, 10:18

Edo - Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has maintained that his administration would enforce the implementation of the Land Use Charge in order to collect all payable taxes in the state, Punch reports.

There had been several criticisms, including a demonstration against the recent move by state government.

The Land Use Charge tax includes tenement rate, property tax and ground rent.

He explained that the tax policy would be run equitably such that the more property a person owns, the bigger the tax the person would pay.
