Osun - Lecturers from different learning institutions and that belong to the Council of Academic Staff Unions in Osun stormed the State House Assembly to protest over non-payment of salaries, Punch reported.
According to reports, the lecturers have been on a strike for almost three months, were led by their leaders of the body whilest they held placards describing their disgruntlement.

The striking lectures have rejected the plan of the state government to pay half salaries. The workers have expressed that this is shocking as the government received its share of the bailout fund from the Central Bank of Nigeria.
The Chief Whip of the House of Assembly, Folorunsho Bamisayemi, addressed the workers and asked for their patience and efforts to ensure their demands are met are under way.
