Abuja - The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Oyegun and former National Chairman of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Ogbonnaya Onu have emerged as leading contenders for the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), reports New Mail.
The two have been lobbying the party leadership to get the job.
Former Governor of Anambra State, Senator Chris Ngige,is also being considered for the post.

A retired permanent secretary and former Secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed has also shown interest in the position.
The party is yet to arrive at a sharing formula for key positions in the incoming government.
