Ibadan - Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State says the late Abdul-Azeez Arisekola-Alao would be immortalised.
Ajimobi stated this on Monday in Ibadan while receiving former Vice President Atiku Abubakar who paid him a condolence visit over the death of the late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland.
The governor said the late Arisekola-Alao epitomised service to humanity, adding that the people of the state would continue to remember him for his philanthropic gesture.
Ajimobi said that the deceased was a pillar of support to his government and deserved to be honoured for his contributions to the socio- economic and religious development of the state.
"He deserved the honour because he represented what many of us will like to be. As a kind-hearted individual, we will continue to remember him.
"Aare was not the richest man in Nigeria but he helped the rich and neither was he the poorest man in Nigeria but he helped the poor.
