Lafia - A Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State, Chris Mamman was on Sunday kidnapped by unknown gunmen, reports Premium Times.
Mamman was abducted in his house in Lafia around 8.30 p.m, few hours after he narrowly escaped a mob attack at the palace of the paramount ruler of Eggon, Bala Angbazo.
Mamman, the immediate past National President of Eggon Cultural Association, was at the meeting with other governorship aspirants, especially from Eggon extraction, with their paramount ruler with a view of arriving at a consensus candidate, when an angry mob descended on him and burnt his car.
