Abuja – The Kano State Government has
constituted a committee to investigate the alleged conflict between the
management of Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) and some of its staff.
The State Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad
Garba, said government had noted with concern over the allegation hence its
resolve to constitute an investigation committee under the Ministry of Works.
He stressed that appropriate disciplinary action would be
taken against those found guilty.

“Government will not condone indiscipline from
individuals or groups in the state therefore we are determined to ensure
justice in the case,” Garba said.
The commissioner added that at the end of the
investigation, the public would be notified of the outcome.
He called on the people of the state to remain calm as
government was doing all possible to address the issue squarely.
