Abuja - 3 000 soldiers who were recently pardoned for their alleged refusal to combat Boko Haram have appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to order the payment of their salary arrears, Punch reports.
The soldiers were dismissed and tried during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan but they were recently recalled by President Muhammadu Buhari after their cases were reviewed by the army authorities.
The affected soldiers were said to have been sent back to the battlefront to confront the insurgents.
