Ilorin - A pastor was flooded away while creating pathway for the free flow of water in front of his house in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, Vanguard reports.
The pastor, a volunteer member of his Community Development Association, was said to have slipped and fell into the gutter while trying to create a passage for the flood after a downpour that lasted for 10 hours.

Residents of the area said that the deceased was used to creating passages for floods to flow away, but was somehow unlucky to have slipped and no was there to rescue him.
