Port Harcourt- The First lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, has commiserated with the ex-governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu over the death of his mother, Abibat Mogaji.
Jonathan expressed the condolences in Port Harcourt on Monday in a statement signed by Ayo Osinlu, Special Assistant (Media) to the First Lady.
She described the erstwhile national president of the Market Women and Men Association of Nigeria as an ''illustrous and well loved matriarch who made an indelible mark as a frontline women leader and grassroots social mobiliser.''
The first lady said that the contribution of the late Alhaja, fondly called ''iyaloja'' would be missed, especially among women who were economically empowered through her leadership.
The president's wife prayed God to grant the deceased rest and comfort Tinubu and the entire family over the loss.
