Abuja - The Senate has received a petition against the ministerial nominee from Sokoto State, Aisha Abubakar.
Senator Ibrahim Gobir, representing Sokoto East at the upper chamber of the National Assembly, has presented the petition at the plenary.

Gobir said the highlight of the petition was that a "more competent person" must replace the ministerial nominee should be replace with.
In his reaction to the matter, the Senate President Senator Bukola Saraki, referred the petition to the Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions Committee.
