He called on NOSDRA to relocate its headquarters from Abuja to any of the oil producing states for more effective collaboration.
The Zonal Director of NOSDRA, Cyrus Nkangwu, solicited the support of the Ministry in carrying out enlightenment campaigns to host communities on the dangers of oil spill on the environment.
Nkangwu noted that the visit would strengthen the existing relationship between NOSDRA and the State Ministry of Environment in effective oil spill management and joint monitoring to ensure compliance with existing environmental laws in the part of oil operators in the zone.
