Police Inspector plunges to death from balcony

Lagos - A police inspector who was fighting with his wife has died after falling from the balcony of his flat at Ijeh Police Barracks in Obalende, reports NewsDay.

His wife who also fell from the balcony on the second floor of  the two-storey building is in a serious condition in a Lagos hospital.

The fight , which according to neighbours, started as a small quarrel snowballed into a serious one as the couple dragged each other from their living room to the balcony of their apartment.

It the course of dragging each other, they lost balance and fell from the balcony.

He policeman died on the spot because of the serious head injuries he sustained when he fell. on the ground

The remains of the deceased has been deposited in a morgue in the state,
