Lagos - The police on Wednesday arraigned one Oriyomi Samuel, 32, for alleged armed robbery before an Ikeja Magistrates' Court. Lagos.
The accused was docked along with a commercial motorcycle operator, Arikpo Otu,27, on a six-count charge of conspiracy, felony and armed robbery.
The prosecutor, Mr Samson Ekikere, alleged that the accused persons used guns and other dangerous weapons to dispossess people of their belongings on Ikorodu road, Lagos.
He alleged that Samuel and Otuon June 12, robbed Mr. Adebisi Moshoodof his Lexus jeep, Samsung telephone and N420,000.
They were also accused of attacking one Mr Sunday Ifayemi and stealing his Blackberry telephone and N25,000.
He explained that the accused persons were apprehended when they attempted to rob one Mrs. Mariam Ejezubeof her Honda Accord Saloon car.
They pleaded not guilty and the Magistrate, Mrs Taiwo Akanni, remanded them in Kirikiri prison and adjourned the case to Sept. 24 for further hearing.
