Police confirms death of 2 female constables

Abuja - The Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, Mr Frank Mba, has confirmed the death of two Police Constables in a road accident on at Moro in Kwara.

Mba, who made this known in an interview with the News agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Sunday, added that the deceased were female constables.

He told NAN that the 14 policemen had just graduated from the Police College and conveyed from Ilorin to Nassarawa State where they were deployed.

The spokesman said the driver of the bus lost control and veered into the bush and went up in flames.

According to him, 12 of the victims sustained various degree of injuries with three in critical condition.

He said that 11 were hospitalized the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, while one was receiving medical attention locally.
