Yenagoa - The Police Command in Bayelsa on Sunday foiled a kidnap attempt on immediate past Chairman of Bayelsa Traditional Rulers Council, King Godwin Igodo.

The command’s Spokesman, ASP Asinim Butswat, confirmed the incident in Yenagoa.

Butswat said six unknown gunmen stormed the residence of Igodo, in Ogbogoro Community, in Yenagoa Local Government Area on Saturday, September 19, at about 22:00.
