Awka - The Commissioner of Police in Anambra, Hassan Karma, has reiterated the command’s resolve to ensure effective policing of the state for socio-economic activities to thrive.
Karma gave the assurance shortly after paying a courtesy visit to the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Peter Umeadi, in Awka on Monday.

He said that the command was ready to combat any form of crime that might arise, noting that the state had remained largely crime-free because of the Police commitment.
The commissioner said that he was at the Chief Judge’s office to discuss with him issues affecting the state, describing the relationship between the Police and the Judiciary as cordial.
