Bauchi - Seven people have reportedly drowned in Bauchi
which has raised an alarm over the two months, Punch reported.
Police in the state have issued warnings over the drownings
as the seven deaths occurred in five cases over the past 52 days.

Residents have been warned to stay away from river banks and
urged parents to monitor their children when swimming in rivers.
The Police Public Relations Officer Haruna Mohammed has
assured the public of the command's commitment to providing safe and secured
environment in the state.
