Kaduna - The Kaduna State Police Command on Wednesday paraded 30 suspects, including two suspected to be members of the Boko Haram group.
Speaking while parading the suspects, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Aminu Lawal, said the police had recovered many items meant for assembling Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) from the two suspected Boko Haram members.
He said that also recovered were assorted rifles with ``BH`` tagged on both the guns and magazines as well as 10 units of 25 litres jerricans containing gaseous chemicals from different parts of Kaduna.
Other Items include dynamites, cell phones, laptops, cameras and other sensitive equipment meant for the assembling of IEDs.
Lawal said that 28 suspects were arrested in connection with armed robbery, car snatching, house breaking and theft cases recorded last month in the state.
He said the terror suspects were arrested during a raid in their hideout after a tip-off.
According to him, the suspects are being investigated and will soon appear in court.
Lawal also said that two gunmen on motorbike, motorbike suspected to be members of a terror group on Wednesday around 7 a.m. shot and killed a police corporal attached to Zaria Police Division.
The PPRO said the police were on the trail of the gunmen, vowing that they would be arrested.
