Abuja - The Nigeria Police has alerted members of the public to fraudulent recruitment advertisements recently published in some online platforms.
Emmanuel Ojukwu, Force Public Relations Officer, disclosed the setback from the Force Headquarters Abuja.
He said some criminals, who were out to defraud unsuspecting members of the public, ran the adverts.

“The attention of the Nigeria Police Management has been drawn to some fake recruitment adverts being run by some criminally minded persons, who are out to defraud unsuspecting members of the public,” Ojukwu said.
He added that the force was not recruiting at the moment and this warned members of the public not to fall prey to the mischief makers.
“For the avoidance of doubt, there is no recruitment going on at the moment in the Nigeria Police Force. We therefore, wish to use this medium to warn members of the public not to be deceived or to fall prey to mischief makers,” Ojukwu stated.
