Abuja - Striking members of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, are planning to hold a protest in Abuja next week, reports Premium Times.
The President of ASUP, Chibuzor Asomugha,said this during a political radio program on Ray Power FM, on Friday morning, while lamenting about the government poor handling of the six-month-old strike.
Reasons why the strike is still on remains unknown, as the federal government and ASUP have reached an agreement concerning the issues tabled by ASUP.
ASUP has been on strike since October 3, 2013 with an initial 13 demands that was negotiated to four.
